Davin opens his mission call!!!! January 2nd 2013
Davin has been called to serve in the Puebla North mission in Mexico. He will report on April 17th. I still remember him singing I hope they call me on a mission at my Aunt Marilyn's first mission farewell when he was so little and thinking wow I have a long time to teach and prepare him. Well, my time is really almost up especially because it is not the sort of thing you can cram for! We love you Davin and believe you will make a big difference in many people's lives including your own.
YAYAYAAY!!!!!!! such great news! so happy for you and your family, my dear friend. WHat a fun surprise to open your blog and find Davin's news! Gosh it seems like yesterday I was opening up his BIRTH announcement on my mission, I think! WHat happened? whaat a handsome man he is and I am sure ready to be a great missionary. And so "close" in Mexico but yet a world away in how long it will be with 2 years to say goodbye. Wow, he will be faced with the new changes of so many young CUTE 19 year old girls fresh out and excited! :) so many of my fave YW from here are rarin' to go and have their papers already in or have their calls. Crazy and exciting. I miss you and would love to see you if you can ever make a NYC trip or a river trip to wakeboard and waterski in the summer! Kids are growing too fast here too with Jocelyn a junior and my baby 7 years old! I miss keeping an account of their happenings but feel like my Instagram and FB is my blog now (KeriJo on IG if you do it) love that you still keep track.
