I love family! Thank goodness we live so close to some. It is the best though when we get visits from far away family:)! We had a great bbq with Aunt Trisha, Uncle Don, Amy, Thad and lots of kids. Heather and Kellen are in the picture too.

Way to go Brody - no more traing wheels!!!!
Emmie had her play last Saturday. She had a small group song and dance, and was in the chorus. She practiced every Thursday for months. It required a dedication I certainly wouldn't have! The finished product was really cute - and most importantly Emmie felt special and proud. Thanks to a very busy big brother taking time to support his sweet sister, we have it on video.
Below are a couple of pictures from my homework assignment for a photography class I am taking. I have wanted to do this for years. Thanks to my Mom and my good friend, Rebecca, I am the proud owner of a nice camera. Now, I just have to figure out how to use it:) The whole thing is bit of a juggle, but I am so glad I am doing it. It feels really good to be following through with a personal interest. I encourage anyone who has had a thought to follow through with it!

Happy 65Th birthday Mom!!!

We had fun celebrating the special day.

Emmie had her first soccer game for 2010. She is yellow again, and wasn't that thrilled about how well the uniform went with the pink cleats she picked out. (can't believe I cut the cleats out of the pic!) The cleats are a big deal because they are her first non-hand-me-down cleats:)!Her team name - The Killer Bees. She just doesn't look very "killer" does she!?!

Here are a few "firsts" of Kellen. He sits up some now, but I have to keep reminding the kids not to sit him up and walk away! They routinely take him from his mama's arms, walk off with him, get tired of him, and leave him on the couch where he can roll off or sitting up where he will undoubtedly tip over minutes later. Below is his first real food. That is only if you consider rice cereal real food. We are happy to say that he is the first one to actually eat the stuff - I guess you only have to have six to finally get one that doesn't gag and spit every bite out.

Here are our little boys, but don't tell Brody that.

I thought this was a nice contrast in hands.

How did we survive in the "olden days"? Now we need vitamins or in fancier terms, dietary supplements or my favorite - nutritional support. Oh I know.... we actually ate whole food fresh and in variety. Food that wasn't 2 weeks old before it even hit the market, and wasn't pumped with hormones or salt water, or sprayed with chemicals or even rubbed with wax. Now you have to hit the lottery to be able to afford olden day type food or live on a farm or grow a garden. I wish I had a garden, but not enough to have one! I just can't grow kids and food. So, the doctor has me on lots of nutritional support:)

I am just saying! Wow!
It takes less than an hour, you don't need any equipment, and you sweat! I was sore the first couple of times which indicates what sorry shape I am in :)! I try to switch it up every now and then because your body gets used to your routine. Thanks Heather for the loan.

Braces, Braces, Braces
Poor Davin has had his for over 3 years now. We never thought he and Perry would be in braces at the same time ... so sorry D!

They really like each other. I do have to say that since they have become roommates, things have gotten a little grumpier at times. They climb into bed together and say potty words and then fall into uncontrollable laughter. All the while their mother (me) is in the next room feeding the baby listening with a grin - they just don't know it! I can't really remember what is so exciting and funny about saying poo poo pee pee, but I can remember what it was like laughing with a sister until my belly and cheeks ached!
Kellen and Josie
Kellen is 4 months old now. Josie is 11 and a bit. Hopefully he will always look at her with adoration and joy - hopefully she will always look at him with affection and love. We are off to that kind of start!
