THIS BOY IS A KNIGHT RIDING HIS HORSE. I BELIEVE HIM, BUT THEN I AM THE MOTHER.

I JUST LOVE THE WAY KIDS LOOK SCRUBBED UP AND READY FOR CHURCH!
Summer fun with family!!!

Davin gets his braces off FINALLY!

A note to my patient son. I never thought I would be able to put the word patience with your name. You are usually rather impatient with people or things that don't think or move fast enough for that quick mind and body you were given, but because of this, I am thoroughly impressed. No teenager should have to be in orthodontics for close to 4 years. I won't tell you it was worth it because 2 maybe 3 years would have been worth it, but I will tell you you look so mature and handsome. Thanks for letting me snap a picture too. Congratulations I loved you any way, but straight teeth are much more attractive than crooked ones!

Palm Springs in July

Thanks to Davin having a b-ball tournament in the lovely desert city of Palm Springs, we were able to take a family trip to the time share we frequent there. It was on the warm side, but the pool and air conditioning helped so much :)! It is so important to take time out with just the family. I put a lot of family focus on helping our children foster strong friendships, but sometimes it seems like an uphill road. I feel mother's delight when we are on our own and the kids relax and realize that they really are good friends!

Emmie swimming broken arm and all - Brody trying to keep up and doing a darn good job of it too!

Flat hair, no makeup, the word that comes to mind is yuck, but I was actually there which isn't always proven in pictures. Brad always looks the same lucky guy - lucky me.

Kellen really enjoyed the pool. He actually enjoys most things thank goodness. He was happy to be on the family trip especially if he was in the water with the others!

We did a Guinn kid photo shoot to get some shots with all 6

Home IMRPOVEMENT projects

Perry's new room with the baby's furniture still in it. We will make the complete room rotation just before school starts because the mom is scared to death to put Brody and Kellen in the same room together. We love the way it turned out, but the picture doesn't do the wood sections justice. Thanks for all the help painting Perry.

We also put shelves up in our playroom and painted this old picnic table bright white to move it into the playroom. I didn't get any pics of Brad and Perry putting up the shelves, but they make the room look so much more organized and it is less overwhelming for the kids too!
